The Advanced GI Pathology Review Program
This is a four-week, faculty-directed academic immersion modeled after U.S. subspecialty pathology sign-out.
Participants work through real cases in a structured format that emphasizes:
Diagnostic commitment
Criteria-based reasoning
Differential diagnosis construction
Professional reporting language
Educational Model (4 weeks – 3 days/week)
Each week follows a consistent structure:
Monday — Unknown Case Release & Core Frameworks
Participants receive new cases and review independently.
Focused discussion of GI pathology criteria, patterns, and differential diagnosis.
Wednesday — Diagnostic Deep Dive
Focused discussion of GI pathology criteria, patterns, and differential diagnosis.
Friday — Structured Sign-Out Conference
Participants present their interpretations in a formal format.

Learning Process
Participants are expected to:
Review digital slides independently
Formulate diagnoses and differentials
Identify and apply diagnostic criteria
Present reasoning clearly
Engage in structured discussion
This process reflects how diagnostic thinking is developed in practice.
Program Structure
Duration: 3 weeks
Sessions: 3 per week (90 minutes each)
Cohort size: 5–10 participants
Independent preparation required (2–4 hours)
The small cohort allows for direct faculty interaction and continuous observation of participant performance.
